R&M was pleased to hold its summer inaugural race day on Friday the 18th of July.
Held in the Fred Winter Suite at Newbury Race Course the day was a great success and was well attended by both customers and sponsors alike!
Despite experiencing thunder and lightning storms throughout the night the weather was perfect for attending a race meeting on the day, with sunshine prevailing throughout.
R&M Electrical were delighted to be asked to sponsor the 5 furlong, 4.15 race – The R&M Electrical Group Handicap Stakes for 3 year olds and over, which was won by Flying Bear (ridden by RL Moore) with second place going to Swendab (ridden by R Hughes), which was heavily supported by all concerned!
The directors of R&M took the opportunity to view all race participants prior to the race, with William Crook (Managing Director) presenting the trophies to the winners.
