R&M Fixings & Supports Ltd are very pleased to announce that they have been chosen to supply the Strut, Brackets, Fixings and Containment for the prestigious Nap of Amsterdam Data Centre project, through Aiden Strain Electrical Engineering  Ltd (www.aseeltd.com).  Aiden Strain Electrical Engineering (ASEE) have over 20 years experience as electrical engineers offering reliable, innovative solutions to specialist requirements in the electrical and mechanical field, their renowned international reputation a key factor in being awarded this prominent contract.

This data containment centre is based in the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol: A Nexus of Global Data, Global Travel and Global Commerce.

The opening of the Nap of Amsterdam will make Amsterdam Airports Schiphol Area a vital link for telecommunications and technology.  Amsterdam Airport currently welcomes more than 48 million passengers and processes 1.6 million tonnes of cargo a year and is currently a major hub for air, rail and road connections so the addition of the Nap will strategically complete this offering.

The Nap of Amsterdam will be connected directly to the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (one of the largest internet exchanges in the world with more than 350 members) and will provide direct connectivity to the 500 global businesses located within the ground of the Airport Schiphol, specifically allowing direct communication with more than 160 Tier 1 carriers.

“We are delighted to continue our success in supplying containment & first fix materials to the New Build Data Centre Market, this is our 14th Major Data Centre supplied in under 5 years and we plan to continue our growth in this area by closely working with our clients and supply chain.”  Steve CargillDirector
