R&M are delighted to have been nominated as finalists in two categories of the Solent Business Awards 2015 – Management Team of the Year & Company of the Year.
The Solent Business Awards recognises business excellence, innovation and standards within the Solent Region and aim to carry on the tradition set by the Hampshire Business Awards, its forerunner.
Solent Business Awards Categories
Winners and of the categories will be announced at a black tie, gala evening to be held at the Hilton, Ageas Bowl, Southampton and include:
- Technical Innovation of the Year
- SME of the Year
- Dynamic Growth
- Management Team of the Year
- Company of the Year
Management Team of the Year
This award recognises a management team that can show a clear and consistent track record of leadership that has driven the company to growth and sustained success within the industry it operates, including problem solving, change management and strategic planning.
However particularly important to R&M is the fact that the award looks at other aspects of the business and recognises the strong leadership within the organisation that has enabled a skilled and motivated workforce which is key to R&M’s success.
Company of the Year
Designed to recognise companies with a turnover of £10 million or more within the region, entrants must demonstrate the ability to think strategically, keep abreast of new developments and illustrate plans for future growth. The judges also take into account the company’s commitment to its employees and also contributions made to its wide environment.
