  • Low Weight – making installation simpler, quicker and more cost effective
  • High Strength – weakness traditionally associated with the door opening on lighting columns is eradicated
  • Zero Corrosion
  • 50 Year Design Life – with track records in the field exceeding this, the aluminium out performs more traditional materials such as steel or concrete
  • Low Maintenance
  • Passively Safe – the aluminium column absorbs kinetic energy in the event of a collision – reducing potential harm
  • Sustainable – ILS Lighting Columns are made from 100% recycled materials and are in their turn 100% recyclable, additionally offering a low carbon footprint when compared with alternative lighting solutions

“We take our commitments to the environment very seriously so the ability to offer our customers a product that satisfies this commitment and with the crucial benefits of lower maintenance costs and intrinsically increased safety, is fantastic.

The benefits of using an aluminium lighting column against more traditional ones are many – the reduction in weight alone means that costs associated with the installation – delivery vehicles, lifting equipment, man power etc, – have in our experience been greatly reduced, whilst, crucially the strength of the product is not affected at all.   In fact the strength of the column has been increased (when compared to more traditional systems) by an innovative design around the door where traditionally there has been an inherent weakness”.  Andrew Chandler (Sales Director).
