R&M Electrical Group are pleased to announce that ISO 14001:2004 awarded certification with regards to its Environmental Management System at its International Head Quarters based in Southampton.
ISO 14001 sets internationally recognised standards, requirements and controls for environmental management. It aids companies to responsibly control and monitor how their activities impact on the environment around them – including air, water and land pollutants – enabling them to ultimately reduce the affect they have. Adopting it also ensures that certified companies comply with environmental laws and regulations, while providing a monitoring system which helps to continually improve environmental performance.
ISO 14001 is the leading international standard for environmental management and is the most widely used EMS in the world.

We have had an environmental management plan in-situ for many years now but it is extremely gratifying to have received official recognition for what we do. R&M are committed to ensuring any negative impact we have on the environments in which we operate is kept to a bare minimum. We have put lots of monitoring procedures in place to ensure that we can measure such impacts and take measures to reduce our footprint whenever possible.
