Prefabrication Service

In response to ever increasing time constraints and health and safety requirements R&M have set up a dedicated prefabrication service facility adjacent to our main distribution warehouse in Southampton.

The prefabrication service is a natural partner to Build @ Bracket – R&M Fixings free on line design tool – enabling users to easily ascertain their pre-fabrication requirements, produce a CAD drawing of their design and receive a quote – all at the push of a few buttons!

We have extensive experience of both supplying this service to a wide range of industries including data management centres internationally.

Service

Our pre-fabrication service offers a cost effective and efficient alternative to onsite production and assembly. All pre-fabrication is performed by our team of highly trained operatives to ensure the product we supply is to the highest standard and to the most exacting of delivery schedules.

Delivery of our pre-fabricated units can be either in assembled or kit form to be built on site – either by our clients or by the R&M Pre-fabrication assembly team.

Our proven ability and extensive experience has enabled us to successfully supply large international projects and data centres involving challenging delivery schedules and our team travelling overseas to assemble the units directly on site.

We are able to supply pre-fabricated trapezes, mounted distribution board assemblies for risers, electrical risers, and pre-fabricated modules all to the exact requirements of our clients.

Benefits of our Prefabrication Service

Cost Efficiency

Offsite prefabrication helps delivery projects within schedule and budget. On-site labour costs are reduced as is the amount of waste material produced by fabricating in-situ.
Prefabrication makes projects easier to manage and brings time and cost certainty.

Quality

All pre-fabrication provided by R&M is carried out at our dedicated facility. Utilising experienced operatives, state of the art machinery and assembly methods we apply stringent quality control procedures to ensure our clients requirements and expectations are met at all times.

Health & Safety

Pre-fabricating units off-site improves health and safety on-site. Not only does it reduce the amount of installation staff on site but also the type of work that may give raise to health and safety concerns.

Time Considerations

Constructing units off site within the R&M pre-fabrication workshop allows for manufacture to continue without having to factor in any weather or site conditions. Fabrication is precisely scheduled to ensure client delivery schedules are met – allowing for ‘just in time” deliveries, and relieving site storage requirements.

The high quality modularised services are then installed in a fraction of the time required by traditional construction methods.
