R&M Cables Division have successfully completed a major supply to a UK based company who have developed a ‘low operating cost’ power station.
The Power station is designed to be ‘flat-packed’ and shipped for assembly on site.
The first of this unique type of power station is destined for Mauretania, – North Africa. The plant runs on Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) which is the most affordable liquid fuel available, a critical factor for use in developing countries, with the estimated savings for operation (compared to conventional fuels) in the range of $11million per annum.
The supply involved Medium and Low Voltage power cables, accompanied by Control, Instrumentation and data cables amounting to well over 83 kilometers. Contact our Cables Division for more information – [email protected]
