With our Marine Division located in Southampton (the second largest port for cargo imports and exports in the UK) we have extensive experience in servicing this particular sector, counting bulkers, container vessels, car carriers, general cargo ships and roll on roll off vehicles as part of our diverse cargo equipment supply customer base.
Product Range
Because of this knowledge we are able to meet our customers within the cargo industry most exacting of requirements, understanding the need for high quality reliable products that are durable, low maintenance and able to withstand the harshest of the world environments.
With this requirement in mind we have developed a product range within our Marine Division that is tailored towards the requirements of the marine market, including a wide range of industrial lighting, marine specific lighting, switchgear and distribution gear, cable management products and a wide range of marine and offshore cable and ancillary products.
Throughout the R&M Group we hold an additional 70,000 product lines, ensuring that whatever our customer requirements are – we can satisfy them.

To ensure we meet the expectations of our Cargo Ship customers, R&M are able to offer a next day service to most areas of the UK, either on our own fleet of delivery vehicles or through our distribution partner network.
We also have extensive experience of distributing cargo ship equipment internationally, both through our Marine Division and through our dedicated Exports Division who have sent consignments to over 90 countries in the world, ensuring that wherever your location – we will be able to meet your delivery schedule, with quality, reliable products and with the correct customs and import documentation.
Additional services we are able to offer include: holding customer specific marine electrical equipment and cable in our large warehouse facility, offer harbour and dock related consignment stocking and kanBan facilities.
