With our Marine Division located in Southampton (the second largest port for cargo imports and exports in the UK) we have extensive experience in servicing this particular sector, counting bulkers, container vessels, car carriers, general cargo ships and roll on roll off vehicles as part of our diverse customer base.
Home to the largest cruise industry within the UK, over 307 ships leave Southampton Docks per annum, R&M’s Marine Division are ideally located to service all cruise clients requirements.
With over 2.1 billion passengers and 280 million vehicles carried on international ferries annually, R&M understands that its ferry customers require products that meet the stringent safety, environmental and service obligation placed upon them by international standards.
We are able to supply to marine equipment to manufacturers and operators/outfitters of a diverse range of hovercraft from commercial, military and paramilitary to rescue craft.
From our base in Southampton our Marine Division regularly supplies inland cruise and inland shipping vessels with onboard electrical engineering components and replacement parts.
Founded in 1995 this division has extensive experience in the supply of marine equipment, electrical products and services to government and navy vessels both in the UK (holding a 5 year supply agreement with BAE) and throughout the world.
R&M are ideally placed to service our Shipbuilding and Repair/Dry Dock Yard customers. With our experience and technical marine personnel we are able to advise on all of your requirements, utilizing products from some of the worlds most prestigious manufacturers in this area.
R&M currently supply electrical components to a number of major well established UK based and overseas technical ship management companies who are appointed by a wide range of global ship owners in the marine sectors of containerisation, cruise ships, general cargo and tankers.
R&M can count as its customers some of the most diverse categories of marine vessels and ships, including dredgers, tug & towage vessels, preservation ships, pilot boats and marine safety craft – to name just a few.
R&M are able to offer our survey ship and offshore supply ship customers access to over 70,000 product lines of marine electrical and related products held in our locations throughout the UK.
