E-Touch Systems for Supersport Yacht

R&M are pleased to announce their contribution to the Switchboard designed and built by E-Touch Systems (designers of super-yacht control systems) for the new Palmer Johnson 48 meter Supersport Yacht.

R&M were able to supply the components for the switchboard build within a very tight time frame as dictated by E-Touch Systems.

“Working in close collaboration with R&M Marine Division E-Touch Systems are pleased to announce the completion of the Main Switchboard for the new Palmer Johnson 48 metre Supersport Yacht currently under construction at their facility in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin U.S.A.

The Switchboard was designed and built by E-Touch Systems within a very tight time schedule using the patented “E-Touch Power Management System” and was approved by Det Norske Veritas after extensive Factory Acceptance Trials. It is the sixth E-Touch Switchboard to be fitted into superyachts. All of the switchboard components were supplied by R&M, working with E-Touch Systems to ensure the switchboard was completed on time and in budget.

The Palmer Johnson Supersport Yacht is a revolutionary project, being built entirely of Carbon Fibre it’s light weight, strength and unique stability enables the Yacht to be extremely fast, but also being able to utilise Main Engines which are half the size of vessels the same length thus saving fuel. Because of the quick turnaround and quality end product by E-Touch Systems, more projects are on the drawing board for manufacture at their Marseille, France and Palma de Mallorca facilities.”
