Ben Dewey

Lighting Division Manager

Ben DeweyBen has been with R&M since 2009 and originally joined to develop lighting distribution in our Oxford Branch having worked in the electrical and lighting industry for over 10 years. Realising his vocation was more aptly suited to Lighting Design, Ben is now fully qualified under the LIA (Lighting Industry Association) Certification scheme and is a Member of the Society of Light & Lighting (MSLL).

Ben’s previous experience and expertise within the electrical and lighting industry means that he is able to supply a complete specialist lighting service, from consultation to design specifications including schematics, quotation and supply of the end product. He is fully certified to produce lighting schematics and designs to suit all commercial and industrial requirements both internally and externally.

When not producing lighting designs Ben likes to relax with his family, is keen on golf and has recently taken up cycling to keep himself in shape.

Joe Ollington

Lighting Design Engineer

Joe OllingtonJoe originally joined R&M’s Export Division in 2010 where he developed a good understanding and expertise in electrical and lighting products.

Joe is well versed in the production of lighting schematics and his previous experience in the Exports Division has given him a good grounding for the consultation and supply side of the Lighting Division service offering.
In his spare time Joe is currently studying for his Lighting Qualifications to supplement the experience he has already acquired. What little time he has left is spent with his young family, Jack Russell Terrier and keeping fit.


Oliver Cross

Apprentice Lighting Design Engineer

Oliver CrossOliver has recently joined the expanding Lighting Division as an Apprentice Lighting Design Engineer.
Keen to get on in the division Oliver is currently learning all aspects of lighting design and supply chain management, enhanced by participating in a Business Administration Apprenticeship.

Oliver sites one of his work place goals as becoming a qualified Lighting Engineer and a Member of the Society of Light & Lighting (MSLL).

In his spare time Oliver is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing golf and football.
