The demanding certification process was conducted by BAS (Bureau of Assessment Services) whose assessment focuses on eight key quality management principles:

- Fact based decision-making
- Mutually beneficial supplier relationship

Siraj Naybur’s Dina Adib as general manager of one of the regions developing companies was asked to comment on local development in Iraq by the well-known “Oil & Gas Magazine” for the Middle East.
Supplying cable and electrical products to organisations involved in the oil and gas projects within the region, Dina as co-founder of Siraj Naybur, is ideally placed to comment on both opportunities within Iraq and the challenges that operating within the area can bring.
R&M’s joint venture partner Siraj Naybur, based in Basra, Iraq are midstream in a $26 million supply contract for the Zubair Oilfield Development Project.
The Zubair Oilfield is located in Southern Iraq, west of Basra and is one of the largest fields in the world, with an estimated 4.5 billion barrels of proven reserves.
The field currently produces 300,000 barrels per day. R&M are involved in the supply of materials for the field’s expansion programme, with the aim of improving the daily yield to 850,000 barrels upon completion.
R&M are pleased to announce that its joint venture partner – Siraj Naybur – have re-located to new premises.
Based in Basra, Iraq, Siraj Naybur is solely owned and operated by Iraqi nationals, whose remit is to serve and supply the Gas & Oil industry in the region.
The new premises Siraj Naybur have moved into are ideally placed within Basra itself, and offers the company greater warehousing facilities, with an extended drive and delivery area to accommodate their increasing distribution requirements.
