R&M Cables Kicks for WaterAid!

CABLES-FOOTBALL-FRONT1-300x224R&M Cables entered a team for the WaterAid charity 5 a side tournament organised by Nomenca for Wessex Water.

Despite the blatant use of a number of “ringers” R&M Cables clearly did not utilise the same calibre ringer as the other teams – who on examination had a large number of local semi-pros playing for them!  (It was rumoured that one player had been on Chelsea’s books!).

CABLES-FOOTBALL-BACK1-300x156 “The company were well represented and we are very happy with the “mid table” result – and no wooden spoon!  It has been great to participate in this event, our thanks go out to everyone (especially all the Dave’s) that gave up their time for such a worthwhile cause” commented Andrew Baggott (Director)
