Andy Baggott
Director
Andy’s first employment, on leaving school, was for a Bristol based 3M distributor before moving to a fledgling independent cable distributor, that had been set up by ex-employees of one of the largest cable distributors in the UK.
Since 1984 Andy has initiated, set up and managed three cable distribution businesses, joining R&M in 2003 to set up and manage our Cable Division based in Avonmouth, Bristol.
Andy has extensive experience in cable design, manufacturing and general cable distribution – amounting to over 30 years experience. His technical knowledge and ability is second to none, and has been instrumental in the significant growth of both turnover and in reputation of the Cables Division over the past decade.
Outside of work Andy likes to travel – he has cruised extensively throughout the world – and has a keen love of music – both listening and playing.
Steve Taylor
Branch Manager
Starting work as a van driver at the age of 18 Steve has been in the cable industry for over 17 years, 15 of those in the distribution business.
Steve joined R&M in 2003 in a sales capacity and due to his enthusiasm and technical knowledge has since progressed to Branch Manager.
Steve’s knowledge of the cable industry and the highly technical markets we distribute to is invaluable to R&M and has aided in the rapid and sustained growth of the Cable Division.
Away from work Steve is likes to spend time with his family and his extended family of animals!
