Cables for the Airbus A380

R&M Cables were approached by engineers from Airbus – Filton (Bristol, England) for a solution for a variety of small power, data, control and instrumentation cables that were ‘specified’ for both the Airbus A380 and its Military counterpart the A400M test bed facilities for the fuel systems operations of the wings that are manufactured at the Filton site.
The cable types (in some cases) were bespoke for the particular operation and monitoring, but most importantly could not be affected/degraded by the aviation fuel used. R&M provided a solution with the application of a fuel resistant compound that was applied following the manufacture of the required cables without the requirement for Gland size changes.
R&M cables have evolved through the experience of their staff that have a full understanding of cable design and thus provide solutions to many costly situations that arise in all installations.
We are not your typical cable distributor and we urge you to test our experience as well as our competitive abilities for your general requirements.
