R&M Electrical Group Ltd was formed in Southampton in 1987. Over the years our sole objective has been to become specialists in what we believe to be the more interesting side of electrical distribution. Since that time we have become one of the largest independently owned Electrical Distributors in the UK, with an increasing influence internationally.
R&M Projects
Following unprecedented success in securing contracts worldwide R&M Electrical Group now has a stand alone Project Division. This division is dedicated to offering a bespoke project and materials supply and management solution to the on-shore oil and off-shore gas, petrochemical, engineering and pharmaceutical markets. This service encompasses all aspects of project supply from initial assistance with product specification, technically and commercially compliant bid packages and material supply, expediting through to provision of maintenance and commissioning spares.
Our Project Division also have a dedicated documentation department providing GA drawings and wiring diagrams for approval, technical data sheets, production schedules, inspection and test plans and maintenance and operating manuals in electronic CD format and hard copies. We have vast experience in supplying electrical bulk materials including lighting, control products, power distribution, cables and cable management products for hazardous and potentially explosive areas. Our Projects Division with its team of electrical engineers and industry specialists, can provide a ‘total’ service in the planning, costing, procurement and supply of the complete scope of specialised electrical products needed to meet the demands of this important area of world industry.
For every contract secured we offer our clients project managers who provide a dedicated point of contact throughout the term of the project backed up by experienced procurement, expediting, logistic and documentation teams. We have over 18 years experience in supplying Cable Packages and Electrical Bulk materials to OGP projects worldwide and we are an approved vendor to many of the world’s leading Oil and Gas producers.
In the Caspian Sea region R&M also has two distribution Companies, based in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, dedicated to providing an “on-the-spot” product supply and service to many live projects in this region.
R&M Exports
To allow our customers to take full advantage of our experience in sourcing and supplying electrical products to meet specific applications in a wide range of industries, the R & M Electrical Group has a dedicated Exports Division. This Division serves the needs of companies and consultants involved in overseas contracts where sourcing and guaranteed supply of electrical products is absolutely essential.
As one of the largest independently owned Electrical Distributors in the UK we have the considerable advantage of being able to source and supply products from literally ‘hundreds’ of the worlds’ leading manufacturers. Throughout the world we are supplying the exact electrical product needed to meet specification applications in a wide range of industries. Our dedicated Exports Division has many years of experience with exports to over 70 countries winning internationally significant contracts and projects.
