R&M Divisions
With our head office in Southampton and branches with different focuses all over the UK, R&M can cover any electrical distribution requirements you may have. As you’ll find out if you visit our UK Distribution pages, we’re approved stockists of products from all the most important electrical component and equipment manufacturers. This applies not only to cables and their fixings, but also to hazardous area equipment, lighting and electrical housing and apparatus as well.
R&M Electrical Group has a stand alone Project Division. This division offers an exemplary project and management solution to the on-shore oil and off-shore gas, petrochemical, engineering and pharmaceutical markets. This service encompasses all aspects of project supply from initial assistance through to provision of maintenance and commissioning spares. The division also has an integrated documentation department for providing all required GA drawings and schematics.
With a main area of our work being in the supply and support of electrical equipment for installation in Oil and Gas exploration and production, Petrochem and Chemical Processing, it is only natural that a substantial proportion of equipment supplied by R&M is destined for use in the Caspian Region. Based in Dubai, R&M Middle East is an area of significant development. A recent partnership between R&M Middle East and the USA’s Wholesale Electric Supply combine the geographic strengths and capabilities of two of the world’s best electrical distributors to offer a service and capability that is unique in the Middle East if not the world. The project will dramatically improve the distribution and supply of electrical equipment to major oil and gas projects in the region.

R&M’s new Fixings & Supports Division aims to simplify the procurement process for these items with their considerable experience of working in the field over the last twenty years. They offer access to huge stocks, with no minimum order, and nationwide next day delivery.
We offer a bespoke Lighting design service operating out of our head office, we offer every customer the opportunity to evaluate lighting effects, colour values and LUX levels along with a tailored lighting design service for all applications . Lighting products featured include Dextra, Fitzgerald, Wirefield, Philips and Thorn.
Our Assembly Division is licensed to offer the products manufactured by such companies as Cooper Crouse Hinds, Weidmuller and Abtech. R&M can supply populated enclosures and junction boxes for the petrochemical industry, aggressive or outdoor environments, food & beverage industries, water treatment and more. The R&M Hazardous Area EX Division supply Hazardous Area and Industrial Equipment to the Oil, Gas, Petro-Chem and Pharmaceutical Markets. We’re a leading supplier and have dealt for many years with suppliers such as Cooper Ceag Crouse-Hinds, Hawke Cable Glands, Weidmuller, P&F, Panduit, Roxtec and CSD Rise.
