The operating company AIOC is a partnership with BP leading the consortium. Together with the offshore matrix of drilling and production platforms and the BTC pipeline, it represented, at its conception, the largest Oil & Gas project to be undertaken in the world. To date three phases have been implemented since 2003 when R&M became involved.
Products supplied within the R&M frameworks include hazardous area and industrial light fittings, hazardous area and industrial sockets and plugs, hazardous area and industrial control stations, LV power cable, control cables, instrumentation cables, hazardous area and industrial cable glands and cable support materials.

R&M’s project management team successfully managed the frameworks from the UK with local support being provided by R&M Caspian, whose warehouse is located near the terminal. Our Baku branch held a supply agreement with the construction team at the terminal, and provided urgently required materials locally from stock.
