The new HSBC Data Centre site, near York, will become a key centre for the bank to process banking transactions. When the data centre is complete it will be paired with another in Yorkshire becoming the largest and most important centre facility in the world.
R&M Fixings & Supports managed an on site 40 ft container fully stocked with mechanical & electrical consumables, the contents of the container were determined by the on site contractor together with R&M’s experienced sales engineers. As well as the on site consumables R&M supplied cable support materials, including cable tray, cable basket and strut.
R&M’s flexibility in terms of supply chain solutions was displayed on this job. The on site contractors had unlimited access to the consumable items providing 24 hour access to key materials meaning a reduction in construction delays. Additionally R&M could supply a huge range of other materials either direct from the Fixings and Support warehouse in Southampton, or from R&M’s wide range of suppliers.
