R&M’s Assembly Division are opening up their doors from 10.30 Friday the 7th of June, inviting customers and suppliers alike to come along and view the new bespoke premises they moved into earlier this month.
The day is being supported by Cooper Crouse Hinds (CEAG) who have provided their specially equipped product tour bus for the day, giving hands on demonstrations and advise to clients with regards to the wide range of products and services they are able to offer.
The new Assembly Division premises have been designed to comfortably house our machine and tool shop, along with our state of the art SMX 2500 3 Axis CNC/Manual Bed Mill, alongside an enlarged assembly area for our electrical engineers.
Up to the date modern equipped offices completes the re-location remit, allowing our design and quotation team to respond to customer requirements quickly and efficiently, offering both a competitive and high quality service.
“Moving into the new premises has allowed us to optimize the existing assets of our team, the layout of the machine and assembly areas facilitating a clean flow through of work, with the increased space allowing us to hold larger stocks in order for us to minimize response times to customer requirements. We are throwing our doors open to all of our customers to allow them to see the new premises and the potential that we know is there, just waiting to be taken advantage of” Neil Sherin (Assembly Division Manager).

Meeting a wide range of your power distribution requirements
As a result of R & M’s overall commitment to providing a total service covering electrical product supply for national and international projects we have found an increasing demand for a service in the design and build of electrical power distribution enclosures. Because we have very strong links with such companies as Dorman Smith and Schneider Merlin Gerin and others, we are fully up to date with latest advances, ideas and products relevant to the assembly and construction of power distribution units to meet your specific requirements.
Placing your orders through R&M means your distribution and panel board requirements are assembled, tested, and delivered to you anywhere in the world, ready to install. Drawings and test certificates are provided with every end product supplied.
Lead times are also greatly reduced as we keep a large stock of enclosures and components and can normally assemble and deliver within days of receiving your approved drawings.
We believe we can, with our experience, also offer the most economical solution to fitting distribution boards in your available space and in many cases reduce build costs!
In addition to the assembly of distribution boards R&M are also licensed to drill, populate and assemble junction boxes and control stations for flameproof and industrial applications as well as supplying hazardous area equipment and electrical bulks along with power and instrumentation cables to the onshore and offshore oil, gas and petrochemical sectors in the UK and overseas.
