Fixed Term Contracts

Because of the importance we place on developing relationships and long term partnering agreements with our clients we have been successful in winning and maintaining several fixed term blanket and MRO contracts with companies such as BP, Exxon Mobil, Chevron Texaco, and BVT. For our clients these are useful in giving an assurance that an agreed schedule of rates for regularly used items can be fixed for an extended period of time and that the required service levels can be strenuously adhered to.

From our point of view the fixed term contract gives us both greater control of operations on the supply side and less uncertainty in terms of a clients' needs. It allows us to review inventory management in consultation with our clients, offer innovation by using the best modern technology and to look at savings through product standardisation.

In our operation at the ExxonMobil refinery at Fawley in Southampton, the fixed term contract has been such an asset to both parties that we've set up an R&M store on site; serving the refinery operator and any contractors working on site who are able to access our unrivalled stock and service first hand without the additional cost of having to leave the refinery to send out for urgently required materials.

The successful partnerships between us and our many clients with whom we hold agreements has seen us able to continue strategic long term business development at a time when many operators in our field are struggling.
