Our company's long term commitment to high quality supply and service has been greatly influenced by our strong links with the marine industries around Southampton, Portsmouth and the south coast. It has always been our aim to work as closely with our customers as possible, and our new facility in Portsmouth's Naval Dockyard meets that aim head on.

At our Portsmouth branch we provide on-site supply and delivery of all electrical products required by the numerous operators and contractors based in the dockyard. Specifically we make products available on an ex-stock basis and deliver high service levels based on un-programmed and reactive business demands that are an everyday feature and in the marine construction, repair and refit industry.

Our experience covers the supply of specialist marine electrical materials and cables used on MOD Naval Vessels, Merchant Ships and Commercial Vessels.

For many years we have helped supply urgently required and unique electrical, maintenance and operational spares to many of the large cruise and container ships that regularly dock at Southampton. We source and supply electrical products to meet these requirements and we keep many specialist marine products in stock.

An important feature of our service is 'Project Involvement' where we achieve considerable cost and time savings through assistance with specifications and design criteria and through our supply chain management systems. This approach includes holding remote client specific consignment stocks strategically at the dockside or at the client job site.

Our running this service means that key regularly needed items are in the right place when a client needs them and avoids any costly delays to vital repair or construction programmes.

We are proud to have many well known clients as key customers and currently R&M have Partnership Agreements with Fleet Support Ltd, BAE, Carnival and Cunard liners.

Our well qualified and dedicated Marine Division team have much experience in the Marine and Industrial areas and use this to provide a first class service. Furthermore, to meet the urgent demands of the Marine industry we also offer an out-of-hours 24 hour 7 day a week call out service.
