Overseas Distribution

R&M is a company with a worldwide reach. With our flexible supply chain, buying power and excellent logistical support it was a natural progression for us to replicate our UK electrical distribution work overseas.

We run a bespoke project, materials and management solution (see the R&M Divisions area) in many of the same product areas as our UK operation, but with the added knowledge of the different worldwide standards structures (IEC, ISO, Neema, CSA etc). We also work with a dedicated documentation team to provide supporting certificates and manuals to our employees on the ground.

Areas of operation

Middle East
We have a branch based in Dubai which supplies electrical products locally and to other emirates in the area including Oman, Abu-Dhabi, Qatar and Bahrain.

Caspian
To support Consulting Engineers and Companies operating in this area R&M established Distribution Companies in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in 1998. Since that time R&M have secured local call off and project frame agreements with the Azerbaijan international operating company covering the supply of electrical bulks and cable and accessories for azeri projects.

Global alliances
Following the globalization of the industry in which we work R&M Electrical Group Ltd and Wholesale Electric Inc Houston formed a global alliance with a number of independently owned electrical distributors throughout the World in 2002.

The partners within the alliance enjoy close working relationships with both the same clients and manufacturers with the shared aim of securing contracts on a global basis. The major benefit that this alliance affords our shared client base is the local availability of product combined with the ability to supply both IEC and UL / Neema products from the worlds leading manufacturers.
